Youth Lead (Maternity Cover)
to be commenced gradually over coming weeks ready for full takeover in mid August
£13.40 PH contracted (Plus paid annual leave allowance where relevant)
6 hours delivery (3 x Monday 5:30 – 8:30, 3 x Tuesday 5:30 – 8:30) weekly, term time + quarterly training sessions (3 hours each).
2 hours planning time weekly – meeting with Line manager to discuss any issues concerns and to forward plan for week ahead.
School holidays 6 hours delivery 9 - 3, 4 days weekly (number of weeks dependant on holiday period)
Leading our youth service, making sure our 2 weekly youth nights and holiday clubs run smoothly and safely.
Ensuring adequate staffing levels and managing the staff/volunteer team.
Delivering on plans made by current youth lead and planning anything additional based on theme nights or where weather changes current plans.
Leading on safeguarding and health and safety of the service.
Youth Worker (Sessional)
Starting asap
£12ph (plus paid annual leave allowance)
3 hours weekly delivery 5:30 – 8:30 Tuesdays term time
Potential for 3 additional hours on a Monday, 5:30 – 8:30 during term time
Additional 4 x 3 hours training outside of term time spread throughout the year.
Ideally will be available during school holidays for holiday club delivery, 9:30 – 2:30 4 days a week, number of weeks determined by holiday period.
Helping our youth team to deliver youth and holiday clubs that are fun, engaging, and safe.
Taking instruction from the youth lead.
Setting up and clearing away of the session equipment.
Working well as part of a team and using own initiative to ensure all required tasks are completed.
Ensuring safety of children is priority.
